Overview

Quiet container transport over short distances

Up to 180 containers per hour in each direction, with no overhead line.

With the TSB Cargo, the Max Bögl Group has built a freight maglev that is especially quiet and efficient. It is intended for routes of up to 50 kilometers.

Because no overhead line is needed and the guideway can optionally be elevated, the system can be routed flexibly, including over roads, rivers and other infrastructure. At up to 150 km/h, the TSB Cargo can carry up to 180 containers per hour in each direction, relieving congested freight corridors.

History

From Sengenthal to Hamburg

Before its appearance in Hamburg, the vehicle was tested on the test track in Sengenthal. At the 2021 ITS World Congress, it ran on a 120-meter demonstration track, scheduled to operate there until the end of November 2021. It then returned to the test track in Sengenthal.
