CRRC CF600 (Changchun)
In 2023, CRRC Changchun unveiled its own version of the 600 km/h Transrapid. It looks much sleeker than the first CF600 and is being tested on the Tongji track.

Overview
The second vision for 600 km/h
The CRRC CF600 (Changchun) is a Chinese high-speed maglev based on German Transrapid technology.
In 2019, CRRC Sifang presented the CF600, in a blue design with sharp edges. In 2023, its sister company CRRC Changchun followed with its own vision for a 600 km/h Transrapid, with a much smoother design.
The vehicle has been running on the test track of Tongji University in Shanghai since 2023. It has not yet been officially presented, so only a little data is known so far.
