According to Chinese media, a new kind of maglev train was presented in China on December 29, 2021, based entirely on the TSB (Transport System Bögl).
This vehicle was manufactured locally in China. It focuses on the Chinese market and is being developed by Xinzhu, a partner of the Bögl group of companies, and is currently being tested on the 3.6 km test track in Chengdu. In this sense it is not an unauthorized copy but a licensed, local variant of the technology. (Update of October 23, 2023).
