magnetbahn.de Needs Your Support
For almost five years magnetbahn.de has existed – in that time a small project has become an established platform for well-founded, independent information about maglevs in Germany. Millions of people have already been reached through the website, YouTube and social media. Behind the scenes, however, there is considerable effort: time-consuming research, trips and rides, video production, website maintenance, community management, email correspondence and, most recently, the work around the successful petition with almost 62,000 signatures, which will soon be handed to the Bundestag (German parliament).
All of this costs time, energy – and money. magnetbahn.de is run completely independently, with no publisher, sponsor or grant funding in the background. Not even advertising is shown on magnetbahn.de. For it to stay that way in the future, I depend on the support of the community.
With a MagnetBahn+ membership from 5 euros a month you help cover the running costs and make new content possible. Members benefit from exclusive updates, bonus material, earlier access to new videos and opportunities to help shape the project.
Your MagnetBahn+ contribution supports our intensive commitment to maglevs in Germany. There is much more behind magnetbahn.de than you might think: writing articles, editing videos, writing and publishing books, maintaining/improving/updating the website, writing corrections, writing and designing social media posts, giving talks, sending email newsletters, research, answering countless emails, trips to maglev lines, phone calls, producing stickers, answering comments & direct messages and much more. These are all things that take a great deal of time – but are part of our efforts to educate people about maglevs in Germany.
If magnetbahn.de matters to you, I would be glad of your support. Every bit of help counts – and secures the future of this independent project. If you are interested, you can also take a look at the shops that sell merchandise such as shirts, sweaters, bags and books. That also supports magnetbahn.de.
Thank you very much!
