Build it with us

maglevhub.com started in 2026 as the international offshoot of magnetbahn.de. Now it is growing on its own, and we are looking for people who want to help shape it.

Why

Maglev is a global story

Maglev is built and debated worldwide. Covering it well takes many perspectives.

Maglev is happening all over the world: the Transrapid in Shanghai, Japan's SCMaglev on the Chuo Shinkansen, 600 km/h prototypes in China, urban maglev lines in Asia, and new projects and debates in Europe and North America. Covering all of this well takes more than one person.

maglevhub.com grew out of magnetbahn.de, the German maglev platform founded by David Harder in 2020. It started with that archive, and it now develops independently: with its own editorial plan, an international perspective and a team that we are building right now.

Whether you can contribute one article or want to get involved regularly, whether you are an engineer, a student, a rail enthusiast or a journalist: if you care about fast, quiet and energy-efficient transportation, we would love to hear from you.
