500 km/h Transrapid Ready for Use Since 1991, but Ruined by Politics and Media

Since 1991, the Transrapid has been ready for use in Germany.

Yet politicians have repeatedly found new arguments to ruin and stigmatize the system.

At speeds of 500 km/h it could relieve the rail network, make punctuality the norm and travel ultra-fast across Europe. Flights would become unnecessary, along with a level of comfort unknown from any other transport system.

Politicians and most of the media don’t care. Both would rather keep riding on false prejudices and stigmatization to maintain a negative image of the Transrapid in society, instead of reporting on its actual advantages.
