Hyperloop Coming Soon to maglevhub.com

The TUM Hyperloop - a full-scale test track that successfully carried people under vacuum here as early as 2023.

The world of maglev technologies keeps evolving – and so does our range of information. While maglevhub.com has reported on hyperloop technologies from time to time in the past, we are now going to step up this coverage.

Since the plans to reactivate the Transrapid Test Facility Emsland in 2021 and the successes of the TUM Hyperloop (from the Technical University of Munich), including the opening of the full-scale test track and the first rides with passengers, significant developments have taken place. The recent opening of a fully equipped test facility in Emden in mid-March (Emden/Leer University of Applied Sciences) complements existing test facilities in, among other places, Munich/Ottobrunn and Veendam (Netherlands). Numerous companies, universities and organizations are driving the further development of efficient maglev technologies.

While some see the future of high-speed transport in the technology, others voice fundamental doubts about its feasibility. Our aim is not to pass judgment but to provide fact-based reporting and information. Developments in maglev technologies can no longer be overlooked – and we will cover them even more closely in the future.

In the future, a dedicated info page will be set up on maglevhub.com, listing both basic information and specific articles on current developments.
